March 1928 - March 1976
Dad was William John McCombe, he was born in Belfast, but he moved over to Scotland where he met and married mum. Unfortuntately dad died on 19th March 1976. He was only 48 years old. After dad died mum and the rest of the family moved through to Livingston.
October 1926 - February 1988
Mum was Minnie Harper McCombe, she was born in Glasgow where she lived unti she moved through to Livingston. Where she then lived until her own death on 24th February 1988. She was only 61 years old.
They were married for many happy years, they went onto have four daughters Aileen, Maureen, Sharon & Heather. After their own daughters were married, they went onto become grandparents. Unfortunately dad only got to meet his first grandaughter, now there are four, and also great grandchildren.
The songs on the page are perry como for mum, mario lanza for dad, and amarillo because they used to sing it at their parties.
